Mr. Weedman focuses heavily on the intricate relationship between Criminal Thinking Framework and two influential frameworks: the Crime Triangle Analysis and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). While the triad of Power, Excitement, and Control forms the foundation of criminal thought processes.
Mr. Weedman believes the symbiotic relationship between Criminal Thinking and established frameworks in crime prevention are vital to understanding how to effectively implement crime prevention. Understanding the motivations behind criminal behavior and strategically integrating the Crime Triangle, CPTED, and the Three Pillars Strategy offers a multifaceted approach to security services in the private sector. He calls this "The P.A.C.T. Model" which has 7 frameworks for different industries.

With a wealth of experience spanning over 2 decades, Mr. Weedman stands as a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in business, security and risk management. Mr. Weedman is a seasoned entrepreneur who embarked on his journey in 2011 by founding "Three Kings Consulting," a security consulting firm. As the founder of WEEDMAN & CO., a conglomerate comprising of diverse businesses, he has demonstrated his prowess in various industries. Among his recent endeavors, INTELCHECKS emerges as a flagship project under the WEEDMAN & CO. umbrella.
In 2015, Mr. Weedman, alongside his wife, ventured into a new chapter with the creation of Op4 Security Solutions. Holding both security agency and investigation licenses, Op4 specializes in emergency security response services, accumulating over 10,000 operational hours annually. Distinguishing itself in the market, Op4 offers a broad spectrum of specialized services, guided by expert management and consulting. In response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Mr. Weedman demonstrated his foresight by founding Supply With Me, a risk management division within Op4. This venture successfully mitigated fraudulent and counterfeit risks in the supply chain during the pandemic, reshaping the company's trajectory. In the same year, Shoreline Fingerprinting and Background Checks was born, later evolving into the established brand "INTELCHECKS," showcasing Mr. Weedman's adaptability and strategic vision.
Mr. Weedman's entrepreneurial spirit continues to move forward by building on the triumphs of 2020, Mr. Weedman established the holdings company "WEEDMAN & CO." in 2021. Expanding its portfolio, he introduced two new brands – "Bubbles Cleaning" and "Tony's Handyman Services" – in 2022. The inaugural year witnessed remarkable success, marked by multiple service agreements. In 2023 he decided to do something fun, where he can explore his creative side. Mr. Weedman started "Jewelz By Weedman & Co." The idea behind this project is to provide jewelry to consumers at costs that allow user to immediately have equity in value while saving money. Jewelz has loose stones, Gems and completed 10, 14, 18k gold, silver and more!
Guided by a commitment to safety, creativity, innovation, and quality, Mr. Weedman strategically navigates challenges to fortify operations, reduce risk, and maximize revenue for the benefit of his valued customers and partners. In 2024 he became the Chairman for the USCA (U.S. CPTED Association) Standards Committee. Through a history of innovation and diversification, Mr. Weedman continues to shape the landscape of business under the umbrella of WEEDMAN & CO.
Mr. Weedman's Education & Professional Designation
Joseph Weedman has a diverse educational background, starting with culinary school in 2008. In 2009 he attempted to complete an associate in business management. Unfortunately, this venture was cut short as a young father and husband, but it did not deter him from following his dreams. His academic journey led him to American Public University, where he obtained a Security Management certificate in 2011. Later, he started a bachelor's degree in security management with core learning in Global Terrorism, Physical Security, Evaluation of Security Programs, Research & Design Methods, Principals & Theories of Security Issues, Legal & Ethical Issues in Security Management, Contemporary Issues in Security Management, and Security Administration. Where he concentrated in five key areas: Protective Services, Security Management, Information Security, School & Campus Security, and Industrial Espionage. Weedman further enhanced his expertise with extras like Dispute Resolution and Risk Management.
In addition to his formal education, Joseph Weedman completed 3 executive protection training courses and became a Basic Life Saving (BLS) Instructor from American Heart Association (AHA.) and participated in the Florida State University Small Business Executive and Leadership Program. He remains committed to continuous learning through platforms like LinkedIn Learning, earning certifications from reputable organizations such as Universities, FEMA, NCPC, SHRM, and more. Mr. Weedman also ensures his skills stay current by attending the Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute (FCPTI) for occasional recertification.
Mr. Weedman currently holds the Florida Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Practitioner (FCP) designation. As well as a Security Risk Management Professional - Country Level (SRMP-C) designation from INSSA (International Safety and Security Association
Mr. Weedman's Work
Starting in security for nightlife establishments in South Florida, Mr. Weedman gained valuable experience managing security in clubs and handling event security. As his expertise grew, he ventured into security systems installations and consulting independently. In 2011, he founded 3 Kings Consulting, marking the beginning of his journey beyond the nightclub scene. Expanding his horizons, he entered the executive protection realm, balancing fieldwork and overseeing operations in the command center. Mr. Weedman honed skills in logistics, staffing, and creating travel security reports, complemented by his certifications in Security Management, Executive Protection, Basic Life Saving Instructor and much more. In 2012 he started working for SPAZ LLC a protection and investigation company in Florida. As well as ESS (Executive Support Services.) Over the following years he worked as an independent consultant for multiple companies.
In 2015, he and his wife founded Op4 Security Solutions, encompassing private investigation and security guard services. The company offers comprehensive solutions across diverse industries. Mr. Weedman's role in the company has been pivotal. Over the years they have partnered with the nation's largest security companies and have become a reliable partner for emergency response needs such as workplace violence threats, fire-watch and other services needed to across the state of Florida. Mr. Weedman joined the National Crime Prevention Association during this time.
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Weedman established a risk-based supply company in January of 2020, successfully delivering over a million units to major institutions while reducing risk, loss and liability. Building on this success, 2021 saw the addition of a fingerprinting and background check service under the Op4 Security Solutions umbrella, further enhancing our comprehensive offerings and commitment to safe communities.
As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Weedman has also launched and operates multiple businesses across various industries, such as medical and industrial supplies, commercial cleaning and handyman services, and jewelry. OP4 Security Solutions is Mr. Weedman's longest standing company, which is a licensed security, risk & investigations company in Florida and currently working on out of state expansion.
The newest project currently being completed is INTELCHECKS, a platform that provides background check solutions for individuals and organizations. INTELCHECKS leverages public and private data sources, investigative reporting, and a dedicated team of licensed professionals to deliver accurate and timely information that empowers decisions.
In 2024 Mr. Weedman completed 2 professional designations he has been looking to achieve for many years. He achieved his Florida Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Practitioner (FCP) designation. The US CPTED Association (USCA) Standards Committee is responsible for overseeing and maintaining standards related to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). It's priorities include establishing local and national standards, refining terminology and definitions, and producing publications and videos to educate its members, the general public, local officials and much more. Mr. Weedman was selected to be on the USCA Standards Committee where he later volunteered to hold the Chairman position with USCA (U.S. CPTED Association) Standards Committee. Tasked with providing leadership and direction to the committee. They set objectives, chair meetings, and facilitate decision-making processes to achieve desired outcomes. The Standards Committee Chairman fosters collaboration, promotes strategic planning, and resolves conflicts impartially. They monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness, and build relationships to support the organization's mission and objectives, ultimately playing a critical role in guiding its success. Mr. Weedman also received his Security Risk Management Professional - Country Level (SRMP-C) designation from INSSA (International Safety and Security Association.
Mr. Weedman uses his creative problem-solving skills, innovation, and unique experiences to fine-tune strategies, increase security, strengthen operations, reduce risk, and maximize revenue. Mr. Weedman is driven by his passion about providing value safety and quality to his customers and partners.
